Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of The Year Award 2016

In view of the growing importance of wealth management and financial planning, HKRFP is launching the Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2016 (the “Award”) for undergraduate students. The aims of the Award are to raise the awareness of financial planning among students and to equip them with adequate preparation for a career in the financial planning industry.

As of last year, over 200 students from regional universities have entered into the Award competition and responses have been overwhelming. This competition is open to all full-time undergraduate students studying in the universities in Hong Kong and Macau.

※Except teams form Macau, it is a requirement that each team must send AT LEAST ONE TEAM MEMBER TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOP. Teams that fail to attend the workshop will be disqualified.

The Financial Planning Workshop on the topic of “How to prepare an outstanding financial planning proposal” made on 17 September 2016 had been warmly received by the attendants, and responses were positive. Mr. LEE, Siu Po Simon (李兆波先生), Assistant Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of CUHK Business School presented his comprehensive knowledge on the subject and shared financial planning practical experience with all participating teams.

img_1901sThe Workshop conducted in English. It is requirement that each team of the UFP award must send at least ONE team member to attend the workshop. Attendants came to know more about the assessment process, judging criteria and the skills of preparing a well-organized financial planning proposal.
