一年一度的香港傑出大學生財務策劃師比賽又來了！
為提高大學生對財務策劃的認識，註冊財務策劃師協會(HKRFP)誠邀各大學生參與是次比賽，作為大學生的你，準備好成為年傑出大學生財務策劃師嗎？
Objectives
- Raise awareness on financial planning among undergraduate students.
- Equip students with relevant knowledge for a career in financial planning.
- Provide recognition to outstanding students in the contest.
- Raise the Standards and professionalism in financial planning.

- Meet industry professionals and plan for future career.
Eligibility
This is a Team competition. Each team consists of at least 3 or at most 4 students. Each student can only participate in one team and all members of a team must be from the same university and All full time undergraduate students are eligible :

只限現時修讀學士學位學生(Undergraduate bachelor’s degree)參加，包括以下院校：
- City University of Hong Kong
- Hang Seng Management College
- Hong Kong Baptist University
- Hong Kong Shue Yan University
- Lingnan University
- The Chinese University of Hong Kong
- The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
- The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
- The University of Hong Kong
- Univeristy of Macau
Prizes
1.Round One (12 teams)
“Certificate of merit” will be presented to top 12 teams.
2.Round Two (4 teams)
“Certificate of excellent presentation” will be presented to the top 4 teams with the highest Round Two score.
3. Final Round (4 teams):
Champion team: cash prizes $5,000
1st Runner-up team: cash prizes $4,000
2nd Runner-up team: cash prizes $3,000
3rd Runner-up team: cash prizes $2,000
Best Presenter Award Certificate will be awarded to the student for Outstanding presentation performance .

Round One – Written financial proposal in English
Each participating team should use the case provided and they are required to submit a detailed financial proposal of the given case. The proposal must be written in English and no more than 15 single-sided, single-spaced pages, with 12-point Times Roman font size, one space need (including cover pages and appendices).
Except teams from Macau, it is required that each team must send at least ONE team member to attend the financial planning workshop organised by Society of Registered Financial Planners.Teams that fail to comply will be disqualified.

Effecitve use of client’s information (15 marks)
Formulation of financial goals (10 marks)
Formulation of a comprehensive financial proposal (40 marks)
Risk analysis (15 marks)
Presentation (20 marks)
Round Two – Video Oral Presentation
Each team is required to submit the following to HKRFP by email to info@hkrfp.org
- a 10 minutes video oral presentation of their written case in Round One in English and
- a set of Powerpoint slides of the presentation
The top 4 teams in combined score from Round One and Round Two based on the formula :
0.5 x Round One score + 0.5 x Round Two, to enter the final round.

Final Round – Presentation on topical issue
A topical issue related to financial planning is provided. Each team is required to send the powerpoint slides of their presentation before Final Round and Award Presentation Ceremony by email to info@hkrfp.org.
Each team has 10 minutes to present in English in front of a panel of judges followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers from the judges in this round.
Teams are ranked according the formula:
0.15 x Round One score + 0.15 x Round Two score + 0.7 x Final Round score.
