In view of the growing importance of wealth management and financial planning, HKRFP is launching the Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2015 (the “Award”) for undergraduate students. The aims of the Award are to raise the awareness of financial planning among students and to equip them with adequate preparation for a career in the financial planning industry.
As of last year, over 200 students from regional universities have entered into the Award competition and responses have been overwhelming. This competition is open to all full-time undergraduate students studying in the universities in Hong Kong and Macau.

The Society of Registered Financial Planners (“HKRFP“) is proud to announce the winners of the “Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2015”. Upon careful screening and audit of the 37 submitted cases, conducted by a panel of judges of experts and veterans from the financial community, the following four teams have been selected winners of the competition 2015:

Topic: How to prepare an outstanding financial planning proposal
Time:19 September, 2015 (Sat), 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Registration : 2:15p.m.)
Venue: Chiang Chen Studio Theatre (CCST), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
The Financial Planning Workshop on the topic of “How to prepare an outstanding financial planning proposal?” made on 19 September 2015 had been warmly received by the attendants, and responses were positive. Dr. Sidney SZE, president of HKRFP presented his comprehensive knowledge on the subject, delivery power, interactive communication technique and shared financial planning practical experience with all participating teams.
The Workshop conducted in English. It is requirement that each team of the UFP award must send at least ONE team member to attend the workshop. Attendants came to know more about the assessment process, judging criteria and the skills of preparing a well-organized financial planning proposal.
